My name is Callie Sprague. I am a graduate student in the University of San Diego's Teaching and Learning Department and I am currently student teaching in a wonderful second grade classroom. I completed my undergraduate studies at Providence College in Rhode Island. There, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. I spent the following three years working for a non-profit Human Services Agency in Boston before moving to San Diego.
Outside of school, I love spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, swimming, biking, and running. I also enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my wonderful friends and family. I have a passion for traveling and exploring the world. I studied at the University of Granada in Spain and have traveled through parts of Europe, South America, Northern Africa, and the United States. I love to learn about languages, cultures, and people. I am so excited about becoming a teacher and having the opportunity to foster an enjoyment of learning in my students. I hope this page provides an insightful look into my world as an educator!
